We All Are One

We All Are One We all are one. This thought needs to be glorified now than any other time in the history of India. Never ever in any circumstances 'Muslims' were told to Go To Pakistan. Never Christians were reminded that they follow a foreign religion and funded by them. Never Sikhs criticized for doing service to humanity because those they were serving belongs to a different religion. Never Hindus believed that 'They' are snatching opportunities from 'Them.'  Such thoughts are disheartening and painful for a person like me who is grown up in a mix culture. So I decided to pen this poem and there is no better day to share it than on the occasion of Independence Day. Enjoy the poem. Happy Independence Day.  Turban, tilak, locket of cross, skullcap, between us they don't create any gap. Difference exists in the thinking of few, who restricts to become an India new. In all the years of pain and glory, we all are the part of the story. None can achieve success o

Ab To Mazhab Koi Aisa Bhi Chalaya Jaaye

अब तो मज़हब कोई ऐसा भी चलाया जाए। (Ab To Mazhab Koi Aisa Bhi Chalaya Jaaye) My Blog has crossed 100 translations of about 50+ poets which I think is a great achievement for a blog which is continuously updating on Ghazals, Kavita , Poems and translation. In this journey I have touched almost every emotion and in covering translations of these poets I have understood their writing style better. The blog will complete 6 years this August 30 and currently it has about 365 posts. The poem I have translated here is of 'Gopaldas Neeraj ' who is famous because he was also a Hindi film lyricist who penned songs like Phoolon Ke Rang Se, O Meri Sharmilee, etc. He passed away on 19th July 2018 at the age of 94 years. His death reminded me of his literary work in both Hindi Kavita and Urdu Ghazal . I am sharing one of his famous ghazal here which fits best in the current scenario of the country.   अब तो मज़हब कोई ऐसा भी चलाया जाए,  जिस में इंसान को इंसान बनाया जाए। Ab To Mazhab Koi Aisa

Remove The Darkness Within

Remove The Darkness Within Diwali is not only the festival of artificial light but the light of enlightenment we ignite in ourselves. Togetherness, sharing, giving and the things like that associated with this festival all aim at making us a good human being. To be a good human is prerequisite before becoming a good follower of culture, faith, religion or leader. Happy Diwali to all.  World is blind to humanity, hate is the motto of today, against the rising brutality, no one has any say, Who will light the lamp to send away darkness? In politics all faces are the same, no one is crusader against the bad, business is checkmate game, no one is for poor sad, Who will light the lamp to spread the kindness? Let the Human inside us rise, more than any Messiah who sacrifice, Who on evil & good can advice, encourage other to be wise, Only a light illuminating inside us can kill the darkness. Hope To Celebrate A Diwali In Which I Can Burn The Evils Inside Me And Also Spread The Message Arou

Shayari #17

शायरी #17 (Shayari #17) Couplet  मज़हब के साथ जब दिल भी बदल गए, इंसानियत के सारे मायने बदल गए।  - सिफ़र  Mazhab Ke Saath Jab Dil Bhi Badal Gaye, Insaniyat Ke Saare Mayne Badal Gaye. - Cifar When hearts changed with the religion, Meaning of humanity not remain human.

Spirit of Eid

Spirit of Eid Eid-ul-Fitr or ' Meethi Eid' as it is called in India is celebrated after completion of holy month of fasting i.e Ramzaan. This festival Eid is not just about celebration but about sharing happiness. The privileged Muslims are obliged to give 'Zakaat' (2.5% amount from total earnings which is given to poor and needy) and 'Fitra' (amount equal to 1.6kg wheat meant for poor and needy) to maintain the balance in society and need to take care that people around us should be happy. But this year Ramzaan became violent with deaths of innocents in terrorist attacks of Istanabul, Baghdad,Dhaka,Orlando and recently in Qatif and Madina of Saudi Arabia. Most died in these attacks are fasting Muslims which make it clear that terror sees no religion, neither it has any religion. Here I am sharing a poem emphasizing on real Spirit of Eid. May Eid brings happiness and peace to the world. Happy Eid.   A Ramzaan passed with scars, of innocent deaths and situation

Accidents

Accidents An innocent man, hundreds of ardent devotees, hard working labors & passerby, a woman biker and many who descend into wells for water; they all are connected through accidents. Delhi Mercedes road accident, Kollam Temple Fire, Kolkata Flyover Tragedy, Veenu Paaniwal accident and Marathwada water scarcity , these incidents have killed or injured many people in last two to three weeks. Through this poem I have tried to highlight the reasons behind these and many other incidents that happen in our country. When money and power overcome humanity, breaking rules of law become your only duty. What happens is an accident. An innocent mowed under car. When officials' warnings ignored with political backing, Place of God turned to place of joy and earning, What happens is an accident. A fire spreading near and far. When project delayed for lack of political will, safety compromised for increasing construction bill, What happens is an accident. Overpass falling faster than star

Prayer for Peace

Prayer for Peace Paris, Lahore,Mumbai, Syria or Brussels these terrorists have not left any place on this planet which is out from their terror radar. The world is continuously under threat of violence. They can do everything to destroy humanity by hiding behind the veil of religion and the repercussions of their acts were faced by commoners. In reality those who determine to kill just follow their satanic path without thinking about the faith of their victims. Here I have questioned the power of Allah who is doing nothing to stop the people who are spreading terror on His name. This is not only a prayer but a question mark on the power of almighty.  Bodies are scattered, smoke is everywhere in the screams of death you are nowhere, Ya Allah come and see killings on your name, innocents are killed to get some fame, You promised each life is equally important, then why some maniacs are roaming rampant, Don't you now hear children's sigh, their silent prayers their deafening cry.

Chennai Cheered

Chennai Cheered Earthquake, Floods, Cloud Bursts, Tsunami, etc can only take away our wealth and property but not the spirit which binds us all together. Recent Chennai flood presented the similar example, a city broken by excessive rains, loss of life and property stood again by his unity, courage, hope and love. Salaam Chennai.  Pillows, mattresses, curtains, bed sheets, drown life's saving. Love, courage, hope, unity, but strengthen in the raining. Help poured from every corner faster than the water, First humans came for humans, government arrived later. Temple, mosques and churches, showed their real aim, humanity is the truest faith, God - only a name. Nature altered by our actions, reacted in that way, We have to now discuss and debate how with nature we can stay. Chennai challenged, collectively contacted, thus Chennai cheered, City flooded but the spirit remain intact, thus Chennai cheered.

Stand Together

Stand Together Paris Attacks on 13th November 2015 gripped world again in fear of terrorism. While terrorists uses religious masks to spread violence and divide us apart to counter them we have a strong tool i.e. to stay together. I am standing in solidarity with France. Do You? Violence, terror, chaos, fear, searching for near and dear, explosions shattered city of love, fly high O! peace dove. Religions becoming masks for terror, which god did this severe error, blended faith and sanctity, leaving behind humanity. Time is tough, teary is weather, Hold yourselves and Stand Together.
