A Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol Since two months or more I haven't posted anything here because I am suffering from an ailment. It is not that I was always not able to write but I didn't feel to write but what a better day than Christmas for a comeback. I am posting a small Christmas poem for this festival i.e birthday of Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas. A Christmas Carol with his ghosts of past, present and future wants to say leave greed, hatred, selfishness, meanness and happily stay that's what Christmas also reminds us each year, make good each day.

Eid-ul-Zuha - Share and Care

Eid-ul-Zuha - Share and Care This festival's actual motive is to recreate Abraham's act of readiness to sacrifice his own son for Allah's command. This not shows Allah promote killing but shows Abraham and his son's trust in God that HE will not do bad to them. That's what exactly happen his son was replaced by an animal and since then it become a tradition among Muslims to replicate the act. It is advised that sacrifice should be perform with cleanliness and with not pomp & show. The meat obtained should be divided in three parts out of which only one part is kept for self and other two are distributed among poor, needy and neighbors, friends respectively. I have written a poem to depict this message of the festival. Happy Eid-ul-Zuha.  A tradition started, not because sacrifice was the command, submission and trust was the God's demand. Festivity lies abated, if the animal's meat eating is your celebration, to share with poor and needy is the intention.

Eid in Palestine

Eid in Palestine The world has endless problems some out of mistakes and some out of power yet people decode the every possible way to be happy and satisfied. Palestine is one such place and Palestinians are such people who are trying to remain hopeful when they are surrounded by debris of their houses and having pain of losing their loved ones. They are observing Ramzaan fast in such condition and will join Eid celebrations with the world also. Their spirit and never say die attitude prompted me to write this small poem for Eid dedicated to them. Happy Eid to all.  Shattered, tattered, with bleak hope, faith giving them power to cope, in love, peace, brotherhood has the scope, to tie the festivities & happiness with one tightrope. Their spirit is broken but not destroyed, in small occasions they are satisfied, Eid is the festival of giving and to fill void, pray that on a new day, new cheerfulness buoyed.

Our Constitution

Our Constitution Celebrating one more Republic Day on my blog is a great feeling. The constitution is an oath which make us one as a nation without it we have no national identity. It guarantees equality, liberty, freedom, socialism and secularism to all the people of India. But these values are in danger today from some fringe elements which kicking them from their feet and sadly they are rising because of the apathy and indifference of our government bodies which are also created by constitution. This year my poem giving highlight of constitutional values and how they are under threat. Hope constitution always remain strong. Happy Republic Day.  An adult girl is not allowed to marry her choice, to choose her faith, to constitutional liberty rejoice, scolded, threatened, supressed when she raise voice, I am sure in multiple sessions,  they not built that weak constitution. Guardian of constitution when permit the screening, terrorists of a community fearless threats giving, governments b

Remove The Darkness Within

Remove The Darkness Within Diwali is not only the festival of artificial light but the light of enlightenment we ignite in ourselves. Togetherness, sharing, giving and the things like that associated with this festival all aim at making us a good human being. To be a good human is prerequisite before becoming a good follower of culture, faith, religion or leader. Happy Diwali to all.  World is blind to humanity, hate is the motto of today, against the rising brutality, no one has any say, Who will light the lamp to send away darkness? In politics all faces are the same, no one is crusader against the bad, business is checkmate game, no one is for poor sad, Who will light the lamp to spread the kindness? Let the Human inside us rise, more than any Messiah who sacrifice, Who on evil & good can advice, encourage other to be wise, Only a light illuminating inside us can kill the darkness. Hope To Celebrate A Diwali In Which I Can Burn The Evils Inside Me And Also Spread The Message Arou

Friend In Need Is A Friend Indeed

Friend In Need Is A Friend Indeed This poem portrays how a true friend should be and includes the premier post (in this case Prime Minister Narendra Modi) as the most trusted friend. All friends' including him should not betray their friends by not extending help to those who are in fear & threatened. Friendship day is round the corner so I hope this related poem would be loved. Happy Friendship Day. Friend in need is a friend indeed, even if world not for their friendship heed, true friendship is the biggest deed, from anyone not any proof it need. Premier post is people's best friend, not any love he is trying to extend, for those whose life ended at mob's hand, for them he is an unforgettable friend. Friendship is the bond we made by our own, god's creation are all other relation, so a friend must not betray a true one, that pain is curable by none. First They Came For

First They Came For - Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) Today I am sharing 'First They Came For ' - the statement of a German pastor Martin Neimoller which is often regarded as a poem. This has become the tool of stating cowardice of elite, influential and intellectual class. In last two-three years it is widely quoted in the Indian and world context also when people supported brutalities on marginalized like refugees, Muslims, minorities, etc. Here I have also shared my Hindi rendition of a poem inspired by this one. First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me. मैं चुप था ! ( Mein Chup Tha) वो घर गरीबों के जलाकर हंस रहे थे, मेरा घर बचा था, मैं चुप था।  Wo Ghar Garibon Ke Jalakar Hans Rahe The,

Literature in Motion #1 DDLJ

Literature in Motion #1 DDLJ Movies considered as Literature in Motion and keeping that concept in mind I am trying here to present that literature in a poem. Its an experiment and what better than all time favorite magnum opus Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaenge (DDLJ) to start this. I have tried to poetically display Raj & Simran's love story in hope that you will like it.  A girl full of hopes & dream, a boy with fun & gleam met in a Euro rail trip. girl missed the train, boy do the same, there life then flip. Girl was on vacation but on her father's condition, in India she has to marry in her father's relation. Raj (boy) &  Simran's  (girl) love bloomed, in journey but it never groomed. they left each-other there love untold, they left forever there love untold. Raj realized and went to her to express, however they went to India to avoid distress. sad in her memory his charm gone, his father encouraged 'get her come on' In India they met, she told t

You Cry Alone

You Cry Alone Our pain only become point of laughter for the others. It is better to gather your will power and stand at your own in any situation of your life. This poem is just expression of this feeling. Hope you will like reading it.  When you cry, you cry alone, Nobody to care, no one to mourn. People are not bother about your pain, what they need from you is profit and gain. It is upon us how ourselves we maintain, dependent on others or self contain. Sorrows like happiness are part of life, not let them grow to curtail & strife. Live life to the fullest carefree without strain, In the end it's your will and identity you have to retain.
